7 Types of Guys to Avoid Dating

**Want this blog post in video format? Check it out right here on Youtube.**

There are 3 types of men to avoid, and before we get into this, I want you to know that I am not here to condemn men. I am not here to paint a negative picture of men. This is about the men who are out there in existence that you shouldn’t be wasting your energy with, simply because they’re not worth it.

I know that outstanding men still exist, and great relationships are still possible, but we must learn how to avoid the wrong people. With that mentioned, let's get into it.

1. Mr. Go With The Flow

“Let’s just go with the flow” is cliché, isn’t it? Has someone who you looked at as a potential partner said it to you? How did you feel about it?

Let’s start by practicing not to say these words because you must be specific on what you want to have or do with the person you’re talking to.

When you hear this from someone you aim to be with, it’s time to think about whether or not that person should stay or if he might just need a little more time to think things through. It’s OK to give a person time to think and plan things out for the two of you.

But remember to keep this in mind: after he's taken time to think, there has to be an action. When he comes back without a clear answer on how your relationship will go, it’s better not to get romantically involved until he can give you his intent, plain and simple.

2. Mr. Emotionally Unavailable, a.k.a. Mr. Doesn't Know How to Communicate.

These two may look different, but believe it or not, they’re very similar.

When a person can’t communicate with you with his emotions or words, that may lead to a not-so-good relationship in the future.

However, there’s an exception. Not knowing how to communicate but being willing to try to work with you is a guy that you can embrace and entertain.

Not every man is going to be great with his communication at first. Some men do need growth in that area. Some men are willing and actually want to try.

They are some who are concerned about how you feel. Others can make excuses. We’re leading a little more to Mr. Emotionally Unavailable when talking about excuses.

This is not a man capable of giving you what you need in a relationship.

The reality is the man who starts dating you while he's emotionally unavailable is extremely unlikely to become emotionally available to you. If you think he just needs some time, and he'll get there, you’re wrong.

3. He doesn't want a girlfriend, but he acts like your boyfriend.

You've got to stay far away from a man like this because it becomes such a difficult situation when you have someone willing to do all the good things, talk to you nicely, treat you well, but here you are entertaining someone who doesn't even want to commit to you. He doesn't even want a relationship in general.

A man who is serious about you, the one who wants to be with you, is going to show actions and be able to verbalize his desire for you. But the guy who doesn't want to commit (which is probably the one you're focusing on) is offering you the opposite, and that's the guy you need to stay away from.
